We’re super excited to hold our first fall event: “A Conversation Dinner: Powered by Plants and Piano”! ♫♪♫♪
NOTE: There’s only space for 10 people at these events.
Join us Friday, Sept 29 for a very special evening combining beautiful plant-based foods (vegan), fabulous people and an extraordinary musical experience provided by host, pianist, and composer, Craig Addy.
“What an amazing evening of yummy food and great people! Thank you, Laura, for organizing such a great event. The music was wonderful – thank you, Craig, for expressing so beautifully the essence of what people shared.”
– Anne Pustil, Therapist and Coach – Coaching in a Nutshell
The dinner will be at the home of Craig Addy, a professional pianist who is gifted in musical improvisation.
Also, over the last year and a half, Craig has transformed his life and body by starting a plant-based diet and we’re thrilled he’s going to share some of his success story along with his incredible musical talent. (More below)
These events are VEGAN, plant-based potluck. Usually, we have a food theme for the event – i.e. type of food / ethnic, but for this event, we’re asking you to choose your favorite potluck dish and name it after one of your favorite musicians!
“You will have the opportunity to create ideas in conversation that then inspire a spontaneous piano improvisation just for you, as you lie under the piano.”

Comment. Craig, I would love to come, but I am having difficulty thinking of anything I could contribute to the conversation. What sort of topics might be on the menu?
I wouldn’t have difficulty with preparing a vegan dish, as I have some vegan friends and relatives, who have been happy at my table.
If you think that I wouldn’t fit in to this group, let me know and maybe I could think of it another time. Otherwise, I’ll come , if you have space left.
By the way, I am feeling a great deal better, Maybe it’s the brighter weather?
Lois. So sorry for the delay. When we say conversation we don’t necessarily mean about veganism. It’s really about whatever arises. In the case of these dinners, the conversations are used as an inspiration for piano improvisations. A conversation might be as simple as describing the beauty of your garden – what it’s like to be in it and the moods and emotions it evokes for you. Then I recreate that with music. People share memories of trips, unique situations, or things imagined or experienced. Does that give you a sense? You aren’t actually required to share anything.
