Sometimes I sit at the piano to improvise and wish I had recorded what just happened. Usually, I can re-create something that is very similar if I do it soon enough. The harmonic progressions and melodic ideas will stay in my memory for a while. After an hour or more, they are pretty much gone.

Anyhow, I decided to have a go at re-creating this improvisation. I did quite well. Of course, you’ll have no way of knowing that. You’ll just have to take my word for it.

I hope you enjoy this quiet meditation as much as I did while playing it.
