A Special Interest Group Piano Salon is an interactive and emotionally rich musical experience where personal stories and shared reflections are transformed into live, spontaneous piano compositions. Whether online or in person, these private gatherings offer a space for deep connection, presence, and shared meaning through music.
As participants share a memory, an emotion, or an experience, I compose in real-time, creating music that honours and reflects their journey. This is a space where music goes beyond entertainment—it becomes a mirror, a storyteller, and a sanctuary.
If a grand piano is available, the storyteller can lie beneath the piano to feel the full-body resonance of the music as it unfolds. If the piano is large enough, a second guest can join them for this unique experience.
Whether hosted in your space or in my Vancouver studio (maximum of 8 guests), these salons are about connection, creativity, and the shared magic of live music. They can also be hosted online, ensuring accessibility for groups who cannot attend in person.
